Getting Around

Ground Rules In a perfect world, grownups (or anybody else old enough to know how to use a computer and be compelled to employ said knowledge to participate here) wouldn’t have to be told how to act like grownups. Alas, as evidenced by the rapid discontinuation of any consumable product upon which I become reliant shortly after I invest any sense of retail security in its existence, it is not a perfect world. If you’re wondering how fast and loose I play with sponsorships/endorsements (hint: not very), whether the comment you’re wanting to post will be considered merely controversial (OK!) or hateful/flaming/trolling (NOT OK!), or before you send me hate mail, check here.

Glossary the made-up words and phrases I use often enough that I forget they aren’t “real” words and phrases. (Though I say if “YOLO” makes Webster’s cut, all bets are off.) An ever-growing list and a work in progress.

FAQ general questions about the blog itself, photography, recipes, tips and systems, and other “why do you…?”, “how do you…?” “what in the…?” miscellany that either apply to lots of posts; matters, but doesn’t warrant a dedicated post; or on the other end of the spectrum, is such a frequent topic of inquiry that I’d prefer to keep it highlighted and easily accessible here instead of potentially buried in archives. Likewise, a work in progress.

Legal all the official stuff nobody ever really bothers to read, but the existence and publication of which helps me sleep at night, makes my hosts and sponsors happy, and provides me cover if you steal my stuff and I come after you.
